Importance of Trees
By - XYZ
"BE like a tree, Stay grounded, Keep growing, and Know when to let go". Trees are the lifelines of our nature. They existed long centuries ago, and their age is more than that of the age of the human race. Trees play very vital roles in our lives.
Trees are very important for humans as they exhale Oxygen gas by inhaling Carbon dioxide gas, as we all know that the basic gas required for the life is Oxygen whereas it replenishes Carbon dioxide gas which causes Green House Effect in the environment. They give us food, shelter, fruits, and shadow just free of cost, and what they want from us are just a little care and emphathy. Not only, but their bark is also used for medicinal purposes and various perfumes. Their leaves are used as natural blood purifiers. They also prevent Soil Erosin as their roots hold the upper layer of the soil tight, so the soil doesn't run away with the effect of air and water causes. Trees strengthen the distinctive character of a place and encourage local pride. Urban woodland can be used as an educational resource and to bring groups together for activities like walking and bird-watching. Trees are also invaluable for children to play in and discover their sense of adventure. People are attracted to live, working, and investing in green surroundings. Research shows that average house prices are 5-18% higher when properties are close to mature trees. Companies benefit from a healthier, happier workforce if there are parks and trees nearby.
Soon, for the first time in history, the number of people with homes in cities will outstrip those living in the countryside. Parks and trees will become an even more vital component of urban life. We must respect them and protect them for the future.
